Bloghunt

I love discovering new blogs. Sometimes (when I have time) I go on a bloghunt and follow links from blogs I like and so on and so forth until I come across something truly lovely, such as Graphic exchange.

Lovely winter days

winter days, originally uploaded by things to make and do.

In-between the gusting winds and pouring rain, The boy and I popped outside to photograph some of the beauties bursting out of the ground. Grape hyacinth, hellebore and jonquils abound and a lovely light powdering of snow on Mount Wellington. You would think a view like this from my kitchen sink would inspire me to wash the dishes...

Determined to finish

Wool needle, originally uploaded by things to make and do.
It's been a busy few weeks and a bit difficult to find the time and motivation to finish off my granny project. This needle has been a great help though, something my Mum gave me for my birthday (thanks Mum). It's got a much bigger eye then other wool needles I've seen and the curve at the end is making light work of sewing together my grannies (well, lighter work then my last needle!) The colour stands out well against the black too.
