Quilt then bind

Patchwork quilt working
I've finally got my act together and finished the quilting on my first patchwork quilt. I started it in August 08, eek! I did this class at Frangipani Fabrics, I would absolutely recommend it if you want to learn the basics of quilting (and you live in Hobart!)
I got the guilts about all the new projects I'd like to start and decided I still hadn't really fulfilled my promise to finish off some of the oldies. Now all I need to do is bind the sucker. I found this Heather Bailey tutorial which looks quite good, see you on the other side.

It looks great. Love your fabric choices.

So after a year and a half did you still like the fabrics you had chosen? You have inspired me to pull out and have a look at my first and still unfinished quilt.

Heather's tute is marvelous. I used it for my first attempt at binding a quilt and it worked really well :-)

Thanks for your comments!
Kate - I love all the fabrics individually, but I'm not sure they all work together, it's very busy.
